Become a volunteer!

Having a sense of community is very important to strengthening our friendships with other neighbors and also protecting our property values. We are always looking for people to volunteer their time and skills to help improve our neighborhood and keep Wedgwood East a desirable place to live. Here are a few committees and Facebook groups to join.

Food is Free Fort Worth: Food is Free Fort Worth is a community based program that was created to help combat food insecurity in our city. This page serves as a resource where we share information on where one can find free food in and around the city. https://www.facebook.com/foodisfreefortworth/

F.L.O.W. For the Love of Wedgwood: This FB group has been established during this COVID-19 crisis to help us as a single neighborhood (WEDGWOOD) build an interconnected neighborhood while social distancing. We are reposting important and helpful posts that can be found around FB.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/206263657128291

Garden Committee: As a member, you will get first hand information on all our outdoor activities, help organize said activities, and meet other like-minded Texas growers. Events include Yard of the Month, Holiday Light Scavenger Hunt, Garden Tour, and the Easter Egg Hunt. Contact Frank Sloan to get started: sloanfj@mac.com
